Those interested in a round or two of golf should check
out any - or all - of the four excellent courses available within
a 40 minute drive.
- Rossman Lake has a nine-hole course and licensed clubhouse
5 minutes away.
- Shoal Lake is 25 minutes away and has a nine-hole irrigated
course with a brand new licensed clubhouse overlooking the lake.
- Russell has a nine-hole course and licensed clubhouse
30 minutes away.
- Wasagaming has a beautiful 18-hole irrigated course, pro-shop,
and licensed clubhouse a scenic 40 minute drive away.

- Brandon -
"The Wheat City" is Manitoba's second larger urban
centre. It has modern shopping, dining, and recreational facilities.
Check out the Commonwealth Air Training Museum, one of Manitoba's
three theme museums, and the Riverbank Discovery Centre with
its trails and tourist centre.
- Riding
Mountain National Park - is the only national park
in Manitoba. Wasagaming has cabins, camping, all major ammenities
and recreational activities, and an interpretive centre. Outside
the resort centre are numerous hiking/biking/skiing trails and
the Ominik Marsh boardwalk.
- Asessippi Ski Area
& Winter Park - on Highway #83 near Inglis is
only a 55 minutes ride for those who enjoy skiing or snowboarding.
Asessippi offers 16 runs for the beginner to expert skiers, snowtubing
and a snowboarding terrain park.
- Rossman Lake - 3 miles north, 5 minute drive - 9 hole
golf course (gear available), swimming, baseball diamonds, fishing
for pickerel and jack.
- Seech Lake - east, 15 minute drive - crystal clear fresh
water with natural sand bottom, excellent for swimming and fishing
for pickerel, jack, trout and perch
- Silver Beach, Tokaryk Lake & Spear Lake - each within
a 30 mile radius or less. World Champion rainbow trout fishing
- The various towns and local villages have much to offer.
Fairs - local crafts, agriculture displays, rodeos, parades and
an insight into the heritage of the surrounding community. Waywayseecappo
First Nation offers unique traditional native events such as
pow-wows and rodeos.
