- Brandon - "The Wheat City" is Manitoba's second larger urban centre. It has modern shopping, dining, and recreational facilities. Check out the Commonwealth Air Training Museum, one of Manitoba's three theme museums, and the Riverbank Discovery Centre with its trails and tourist centre.
- Riding Mountain National Park - is the only national park in Manitoba. Wasagaming has cabins, camping, all major ammenities and recreational activities, and an interpretive centre. Outside the resort centre are numerous hiking/biking/skiing trails and the Ominik Marsh boardwalk.
- Asessippi Ski Area & Winter Park - on Highway #83 near Inglis is only a 55 minutes ride for those who enjoy skiing or snowboarding. Asessippi offers 16 runs for the beginner to expert skiers, snowtubing and a snowboarding terrain park.
